Merimbula Anzac Day Ceremony

We all went to the Anzac Day Ceremony in Merimbula this year.  Jackson and Josie both marched, and Jackson, as school leader, had been asked to do a speech.  He did an amazing job - he was very composed and spoke confidently and eloquently in front of a very large audience.  Very proud of the little man.

Bournda Island

We took a hot chocolate out to our favourite spot overlooking Bournda Island, and the tide was low so we managed to actually walk across to the island too.

Jindabyne camping

We decided to head away to Jindabyne for a few days, we wanted to do some walking and mountain biking in the mountains.  But unfortunately, the car had other ideas - whilst unhitching the trailer we noticed a leak, took it straight to the local mechanic who couldn't fix it and said it wasn't drivable.  It got towed home a few days later.  So, we had a few days in Jindabyne instead.  We found some pretty cool mountain bike tracks around Jindy lake - one out to the Hatchery and another to the Tyrolean Village.
BTW - car got towed all the way to Bega, and the Mitsubishi garage fixed it in 15 minutes!

Fourth place in Cross Country

Jack and Josie both got fourth in their Cross Country races this week (same result as last year!) - both will be representing the school at zone cross country next term.

Ed Sheeran concert with Dad

Dad and I went up to Sydney for a couple of days to see Ed Sheeran at the ANZ Stadium, then a trip out to Manly and Bondi before heading home the day after.
