Tennis Presentation

We had the tennis presentation at the club on Sunday arvo.  Jacko got Player of the Year for his age group, but whilst the presentation was on a massive hail storm came through - so we got a hail damaged Pajero 😕

School Presentation Day

Well that was quite a presentation day for Jackson and Josie.

Jackson got a Class Award for Overall Outstanding Achievement, the Percy Jackson Participation Sports Award, and a sports medal for Cross Country, Athletics and Swimming.  And with it he got a book voucher.

Josie got an Encouragement Award and a sports medal for Cross Country.  And Josie also got a book voucher.

Jackson then got inducted into School Leader for 2019, and then got a present for being School Leader in 2018.

To top it all off, we won 2nd prize in the School Christmas Raffle - an amazing prize consisting of accommodation and heaps of meal vouchers in Tathra.

L'Etape in Jindabyne

We were in Jindabyne for the weekend as Rich and Geoff did the L'Etape bike race, 170km and 3000m of climbing.  The kids, Jo and I did a ride of our own on the Hatchery Trail around Lake Jindy, great weekend.

Dance concert 2018

Another year of dance for Josie, this year she did jazz and tap - with the 2 shows this weekend. She  was great - so proud of her!

Josie turns 9

Josie had a couple of her friends over on her birthday for cake and pizza.

Taylor Swift concert

Josie and I went to Sydney for her birthday weekend.  Taylor Swift concert on Friday night, shopping in Sydney on Saturday, then we flew home on her birthday on the Sunday.  We had such a great time.

Jackson is 11

Jackson turned 11 this year.

Richard was away for his birthday (on school camp) so I held a surprise party for him.  Four of his mates hid in his room and when we got home, they surprised him.  He was totally shocked and had no idea.  Great night.

Scott's Head

Next stop for 6 nights was the lovely town of Scott's Head.  We had such a good time camping here, great camping site, great beach, great surf, warm ocean, warm weather - so good in fact that we've booked to come back again next year!
