Birthday weekend away

It's my birthday this weekend and we decided to go away, but instead of spending hours in the car we decided to spend just 15 minutes in the car and booked a cabin in Merimbula!  There are some amazing caravan parks around here in great locations with great facilities, we choose Merimbula Beach Caravan park.

Some good friends of ours joined us and booked a cabin next door.  The kids spent their time alternating between the jumping pillow, games room, kids club, the pool, the playground and the go-carts.  The parents also had a good time, sipping wine/beer and eating cheese and crackers on the balcony overlooking Short Point. A lovely way to start my 40th year!

Last soccer game of the season

Merimbula Grasshoppers Under 8s Green ended on a high with a 11, 0 'flogging' (Jackson's word not mine!) over Eden Black today.  A great way to end the season, and they all want Richard to coach again next year..... !!

Potoroo Palace

We all went to Potoroo Palace yesterday.  The kids and I have been a few times, but this was Richard's first visit.  We had a lovely few hours there.

Commute home

I have recently started a new job doing training and support for a software company.  Recently I was up in Canberra to deliver some training, and encountered a blizzard on the way home!
