Our little artist

Josie's artwork got chosen to represent Merimbula Public School at a local Art Fair, and today she got told she got a 'Highly Commended' award at the Art Fair. She got a certificate and $1 prize. Well deserved, and so proud of her.

SUP and bike ride at Bournda

We had such a lovely morning this morning at Bournda. We took both SUP's, surfboard, and 4 bikes. First, we went for a SUP on Wallagoot Lake, saw jellyfish, black swans and birds swooping into the water catching fish. Then we changed, grabbed the bikes and rode along a track to Bournda Island and back, this time we saw heaps of goannas (and I nearly rode right over one).

Great morning out, and only 15 minutes from home.

New SUP!

Richard has bought a new SUP, this one is inflatable and fits into a backpack (...a big backpack, but a backpack nonetheless). It now means we can all head out together - Jackson gets towed standing on his surfboard, Josie lies on the SUP with Richard, and I get to join the party on a SUP too. We also have plans to buy a kids SUP, its due to get delivered this week.

Weekend in Mystery Bay

We took the caravan to Mystery Bay this weekend with our good friends Geoff, Jo, Wyatt and Bronte. Lovely campsite, near a great beach. The kids spent their time riding around the campsite on their bikes, finding hide-outs and 'log-jumps', and hanging on the rope swings, as well as a couple of trips to the beach. Great weekend away.

Its been warm here lately. Dad's neighbour has a pool, and as its their holiday house (they live in Bombala) they have told Dad he can use the pool whenever he likes - so on Friday night Dad invited us over for a swim followed by pizza dinner. Lovely evening. It was lovely in that pool!
