Welcome Josephine Taylor Lane

Josephine (Josie) was born on the 4th of November at 3.37 pm, weighing 7 pound 5 and looking beautiful. She is wonderful, sleeping and eating and seems very content with the world. Em is doing well after the C-Section. Jackson is already trying to show his little sister how to jump! The Lane household has its newest member and we could not be happier!

Jackson's 2nd Birthday Party

We held a 2nd Birthday Party for Jackson yesterday, and I'm pleased to say - we actually survived it (...albeit somewhat frazzled and knackered!).

Our new house already had a cubby house in the backyard, which Jackson loves, Richard has been doing some 'home improvements' on the cubby recently. This has included a cannonball run (the blue tube) and a sandpit. Jackson (and Richard) LOVE both!!

We realised we haven't taken Jackson swimming for a long time, so on Saturday decided to take him to the pool. Rich went in with him, I don't have any swimming clothes that will go over my belly at the moment (!), and Jackson LOVED it. He was a little tentative at first, but once he realised what it was all about we couldn't get him out - even a promise of a trip to the park following the pool didn't work... "no park Daddy, water".

Gran's 101st Birthday Party

A couple of weekends ago we had Richard's Gran's 101st Birthday Party, hosted by Selby and Emma. I forgot my camera and we have just received copies of the photos taken there, can you believe we got 12 adults and 8 kids all to stand still and look at the camera?!

We just moved back into our place after 3 weeks back at my Dad's, as we were getting the bathroom, toilet and laundry renovated. We are VERY happy with the result.
