Avon Descent

Last weekend was the Avon Descent, a two day paddle race from Northam to Perth. It was a great weekend, the water was at record levels which meant lots of hairy moments for a novice paddler like myself. Half way through the second day I parted company with my boat on a particuarly nasty rapid and didn't find it for over three hours, so my race was over. Still, it was all well worth the effort- I'm glad I finally found my boat- caught up in ti trees- so there is always next year!

Our clever little boy has now been crawling for a couple of weeks, and he is LOVING his new found freedom!
