Christmas Day 2014

We had a great day on Christmas Day, the first in our new house.  Jackson and Josie were super excited and had opened all their presents before 6.30am, later on Grandad, Gemma and Mike came over and we then spent the rest of the day playing with the kids presents, eating, popped down to Pambula Beach as Richard was on patrol, more eating, more playing etc etc.

My cousin comes to town

My cousin, Gemma, and her fiancé, Mike, arrived in Tura Beach from Sydney just before Christmas.  These pictures were taken on a walk to Bar Beach.

The Rice's came to town

Well some of the Rice's came to town - Andrew, Sam and Lucas to be exact, Andrew is planning on bringing down the older boys towards the end of the school holidays.  All the cousins as per usual thoroughly enjoyed each others company.

Meeting Santa

Jack and Josie, along with their friends Tom, Wyatt and Bronte, got to meet Santa at the Christmas Carols on Sunday night.

It's been a big week for our little man.  Firstly he had his school Musical Performance on Monday and Tuesday, and today he got a class award for Academic Achievement in the school presentation day.  So proud of you Jackson xx

Day trip to Tuross Falls

We took a day trip off road with some friends yesterday to Tuross Falls. This was the day after Merimbula had about 70mm of rain, and rivers were swelling everywhere.  Needless to say we came across more water on the road than usual.  Great day out, and got the new car dirty!

Kid talk

This weekend Josie has had her dance concert, where she performs two dances with her dance class on stage, with lights, costumes, music, big audience etc etc (photos to come soon!). Before she went to bed tonight we were talking about her dance performance and I said "so Josie, do you want to do dance next year?", Josie, "no Mum, I already know all the moves"!!

New car

We decided to trade in the trusty Nissan X-Trail and upgraded to a brand new Mitsubishi Pajero. Looking forward to lots of 4WD camping holidays now...

 So this is the treatment you get when you buy a new car!! (either that or they wanted to hide the Mitsubishi in a Ford garage!)

This little guy came to visit us just the other side of our back fence, Josie named him Rory.

Josie's Party!

Josie invited 7 of her friends over to our house today for her party.  She had a great morning, we filled the party with a very extensive treasure hunt (designed by Richard and assisted by Jackson), making fairy wings, wands and crowns, and pass the parcel.  Josie had a ball!!

Yesterday Jackson had his party at Top Fun in Merimbula.  He invited 6 friends, and they played Ten Pin Bowling and Laser Tag followed by a hot dog, slushy and birthday cake.
