We just spent a couple of nights camping at Bittangabee Bay, just south of Eden in the Ben Boyd National Park.

Dance Concert 2016

Josie did tap this year, and this weekend they had two big shows with over 200 people coming to each show.  She had two dances and thoroughly enjoyed herself, so much so she has decided she wants to do tap, jazz and ballet next year!!

This year Jackson and Josie both wanted to have their parties at Top Fun, so we thought we may as well have them at the same time.  They both invited 5 friends each and had a great time doing the bowling, mini golf and laser tag!

Mt Dromedary

We, along with the Pursell's, hiked up Mt Dromedary near Central Tilba yesterday.  It was a big hike, elevation of 842m, over 12.7km which took us 4 hours.  Great day though and some well deserved fish and chips in Bermagui for dinner on the way home.  Tired legs today!

Visit from the tooth fairy

Josie finally lost her first tooth, she has been waiting and waiting for her first tooth to come out (...apparently she is the only one in her class not to have lost a tooth).

Our Fiji Holiday

We just spent the last 10 days at Plantation Island Resort in Fiji.  What a holiday!

Plantation Island is really well set up for kids, so Jack and Josie spent some of their time making new friends, doing the kids club activities (....beach soccer, shell necklace making, coconut boat making, cultural dancing, crab hunting, crab races, movie nights, hat making, tie dye t-shirt making etc etc).  In addition to that there were 3 pools to choose from, a mini golf course, a tennis court, table tennis tables, and watersport activities (such as kayaking, SUP'ing, snorkelling and a waterpark).

Whilst Jack and Josie were at kids club, Richard and I checked out some of the nearby bars and beaches, including the adults only resort.

We also hired bikes the whole time we were there so in addition to riding around the resort we also rode them to check out the neighbouring resorts.

We also did a few excursions, we went to a local village and visited their school, we went on a dolphin safari and snorkelling trip, and out to Cloud 9 – which is a floating bar in the middle of the ocean.
