So, as school holidays have just started here, we are going to take the new (old) caravan on a bit of a road trip north.

Mogo Zoo

We day-tripped up to Batemans Bay yesterday and spent most of the day at Mogo Zoo.  What a fantastic zoo, we all had a great time.  Saw lots of animals up close - lions, cheetah, tiger, giraffe, rhino, zebra, gorilla, lots of monkeys, and reptiles.  Heard the lions roar, saw the tiger getting fed, watched the meerkats getting fed and played with, and fed the goats.  Josie's favourite was the lemur (..."ahhhh soooo cute!") and Jackson's the meerkat.  Great day out.

 We met up with Wyatt and Bronte there too!

School Athletics Carnival

It was Josie's first and Jackson's third Athletics Carnival this week, they did long jump, high jump, a vortex throw and a running race.  They both thoroughly enjoyed themselves.  Great weather too.

Do something you've never done before...

.... I ran 10km in the Merimbula Fun Run on Sunday.

I run with a local group quite often on a weekend, but we only run 5km, and I've never run more than that.  With no training, and no idea if I could actually complete it, I finished the 10km in 55 minutes and came 9th in my category.  Pretty happy with that result!  No photo evidence, my support crew (i.e. Rich, Jack and Jo) were all at Jackson's soccer game.
